For short works the characters are well developed and the plot lines and backstory well fleshed out. A great summer beach read. Steamy stories for a hot afternoon by the pool. These are just the type of stories I like--very hot but not too kinky or violent. Quite varied considering they're all by the same author. I like to read them in the bathtub with my waterproof vibrator. Not every book can get me off in the water, but this one did (several times). I just ordered the second in the series and so far it is equally good.
